Introducing the puppy.?

I am getting a tiny female papillong in April. I currently have a pap that will be almost 11 months when i get the little girl. Putter my pap is about 7 pounds, fairly entergetic, and loves to play bite and growl and such, he is afterall still a pup! Anyways, The little girl will only be about 4.5 pounds full grown so she will be significantly smaller and more delicate. Putter is very well socialized and loves to be around other dogs. I was wondering what would be the best way to introduce them. I don’t want putter getting to aggresive with her and scaring her. Do you think he will try to hump her? He doesn’t hump often, once in awhile he humps his duck. Putter gets excited and will want ot play and play but smaller dogs need moer rest and what not and I don’t want her to get sick. Thanks for the help!

the best bet is to introduce them both on neutral ground, such as a friends garden, this will mean that the male will not feel that it is his territory and will need to defend it.
let them play, sniff and act doggy, but supervise and if any aggression is shown, seperate them immediately.
when you move the dogs into your home, make sure both dogs have their own area where they can go to and get away from the other dog if they want quiet time and rest, as a tired dog can easily snap at another.
he probably will want to hump her, both out of dominance over her and sexual feelings he will have with a female being in the house, if you have no plans to breed, then neuter him to stay safe from unwanted litters and humping.
there probably will be a few scraps to begin with, as anyone with more than one dog will know, they will need to establish who is boss out of them, and the pack heirachy will be set, and once it is, they should get along just fine.
